Civil Engineering Alumni Association 50th Anniversary Scholarship Fund (KRW 50 million per year)
Scholarship Selection Criteria & Scope
Mandatory conditions: submission of a safety-training certificate, attendance at the OCEAN seminar, and an advisor interview
- 1. Enrolled students below their 8th semester (excluding those who have completed coursework)
- 2. Students with a previous-semester GPA of 3.0 or higher, with 2nd- and 3rd-year students given priority
- 3. The following students are given priority
- · Students who placed within the top 3 in external/internal competitions or contests, enhancing the school’s reputation
- · Students who actively participated in campus events and led a proactive university life
- · (Students with poor attendance at school events—interviews, company internships, industry field trips, the OCEAN seminar, etc.—are excluded)
- · For 4th-year students, those in the BS–MS linked program are given priority
- · Specific recipients each year are determined by the department’s Scholarship Committee
Conditions for Scholarship Payment
- 1. Selected recipients must attend the award ceremony for the “Civil Engineering Alumni Association Scholarship.”
- 2. Selected recipients express gratitude to the alumni and faculty who donated the scholarship and actively participate in alumni activities thereafter.
How to Apply
- 1. Obtain the application form from the department office and submit it with supporting documents.
- 2. Obtain your academic advisor’s signature before submitting.
- 3. Submit a transcript and copies of materials evidencing your activities.
- 4. Applications will not be accepted from those with no record of safety training, advisor interviews, campus event participation, or competition participation.
