She's the witch her beloved asked to brew a love potion" is a romantic fantasy with gentle irony, where magic turns out not to be a solution, but the beginning of big troubles. The main character is a quiet witch, accustomed to helping people with simple charms and herbs, who suddenly receives a request from someone she has long harbored feelings for. He asks her to prepare a love potion, and at that moment the fairy tale breaks down, because the witch realizes her feelings are genuine, while his request looks like an attempt to run away from his own insecurity. In search of the right recipe, she encounters the rules of witchcraft, where any interference in another person's will comes at a price, and the stronger the desire, the more dangerous the consequences. Gradually, the story turns into a chain of funny and touching situations, where the characters learn to speak directly, to be jealous without destruction, to admit mistakes, and to accept themselves. There are plenty of warm dialogues, everyday magic, cute familiars, and moments when the most powerful spell is honesty spoken at the right time.
